Some may remember the iconic commercials of the 1970s and 1980s for E.F. Hutton, a once venerable brokerage firm, that featured the famous line “When E.F. Hutton talks, people listen.” At Klingenstein Fields Advisors (KF Advisors), we’ve turned that saying around to note that “when our clients talk, KF Advisors listens.”

At KF Advisors, we are committed to listening and responding to client concerns whether financial or service-related, from the highly visible to those that are “behind the scenes.” For example, we heard from many clients that they were interested in adding asset classes to their portfolio that could provide additional potential return opportunities and help manage risk. To address that request, we have added a liquid alternatives asset class and now can offer a sub-advised fixed income solution. We continue to assess the merits of and solutions for other asset classes, as well. Clients have asked about our commitment to Impact Investing and we are developing a more emphatic approach to seeking a financial return on investments that promote a positive social and environmental purpose. If you look at the header of recent emails from us, you may notice that we have a new image at the top. This change was made in response to feedback received from clients.
